Miss you always dear friend
Cherie was a very dear friend and Sister in Christ to both of us for many years. I believe we've celebrated birthdays together for most of those, along with chatting after church, shopping , etc. until she moved back to Ojai with her little dog Bogie! I already miss her gentle spirit, kind heart, and hearing about her Ojai friends and precious family.

Cherie was a candle that God lit in the dark. A beautiful person, she was an amazing example of Jesus' love in the world. Cherie was an incredible and indispensable member of our NBCC church community. She volunteered for years, helping our staff dot the "i's" and cross the "t's," ensuring we had the resources to build a solid foundation to release God's love into the world. To be in her presence for a few moments was enough to leave one's life saturated by the experience of her love for the day. She loved effortlessly! Her smile, warmth, good humor, compassion, faith in God and others -she loved effortlessly! No human being is flawless, but Cherie was so incredibly faithful. The one consolation that soothes my enormous sense of loss is knowing that her faith has now become sight!❤️

Cherie invited us several times to spend a week at her vacation spot in Ojai. We always had a great time. She was always so warm and friendly towards us. She'll be greatly missed. A HUGE loss for sure. May she rest peace and may the family find comfort in the pleasant memories of her.

I always teased you for being the "older" girlfriend...yeah... by 4 days. What fun we had Cherie..talking about our granddaughters... you with Helena...who you adored... and my two ...Sasha and Summer...I thank you for the wonderful portrait you painted of Sasha when she was three years old.... I will treasure it forever.. you were so gifted. I loved it when you and Helena and Gretchen would come into Tottenham Court where I worked. Helena always dressed ..ready for tea time... what wonderful memories I will always have of you and your family.
Rest in peace Cherie, you were a special person, and will be missed greatly.

Fourth of July BBQ's at her house every year, swimming, hanging out with good people and good food. She was such a giving and caring person.
