Wendy Sue Power's Obituary
Wendy was born in Adrian, Michigan on May 9, 1950. As a child, she enjoyed many adventures with her brothers, Rob and Alan, sister Carol and cousin Jill. She cherished and spoke of those memories during her time on hospice. She spent years in 4-H which sharpened her sewing skills and sprouted her love of flowers. After her Tecumseh High school graduation in 1968 she received a dental assistant certification. In California Wendy worked in the dental field for many years and later in the real estate world. While raising her two boys, she also did tax preparations. The true love of her life were her two sons Andy and Ben who gave her four grandkids that she cherished very much, Raiden, Aidan, Ella and Isabella. She loved to hear their stories and watch them grow in the world and learn about God. She was proceeded in death by her son, Andy Blaker; in 2003, which took a heavy toll on her. She is survived by her son Ben Blaker, Daughter in-law Danzita Blaker and ex-husbands Don Blaker and John Power. The family would like to thank the Hospice team; especially Emerson, for their loving care and dedication over almost 22 months. Please feel free to honor Wendy by loving the world one person at a time. A celebration of Wendy Sue Sellers (Power) life will be held April 27th at Ivy Lawn Funeral Home on Daily Drive in Camarillo, California.
