Theresa "Peaches" Ramirez's Obituary
Our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and faithful woman of God took the hand of the Lord on October 27th, 2024. Born in Oxnard, California, on August 22, 1961, she was the cherished daughter of Frances Reyes and John "Juanchy" Ramirez, whom she is now reunited with in heaven. She leaves behind a legacy of love and strength, carried forward by her 6 children: Sylvia, Theresa, Gilbert, Delilah, Rosemary, and Michael, 22 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren, along with her siblings: Angela, Anthony, Denise, Christina, Cecilia, Ruben, Angel, Patricia and their families.Our mom's faith in God was her guiding light, and she was a cherished member of her church and community. Known for her heart of gold, she found her greatest joy in the melody of family life. Her beautiful voice, often singing her favorite songs during car rides, created a soundtrack to countless precious moments, now treasured in the hearts of those who loved her. She enjoyed attending family events and celebrating everyone's accomplishments.Mom will be remembered by so many for her witty sense of humor, unfiltered sarcasm, beautiful smile, deep concern for others, her warm and loving heart that comforted everyone. Mom had a powerful way of praying with those in times of need, bringing comfort and hope. She helped so many people and left a beautiful impact on all who knew and loved her. Our mom made everyone feel like family.Throughout our mom's life, she overcame many early challenges with unwavering resilience, going on to build a successful career as a realtor. A wise and intelligent woman, she graduated from Oxnard College, earning an associate's degree, completed studies in addiction counseling, and Bible College. Through hard work and persistence, she bought her dream home-a milestone that symbolized her resilience and dedication.As the matriarch of our family, she was a beacon of strength, grace, and peace. Her spirit lives on in every bold laugh, every honest word, and every dream pursued with the same unstoppable determination she showed us all. Our mother's legacy of love, strength, and faith will forever inspire us. She will be deeply missed and remembered always as a gift to this world, with gratitude, a giving heart, and genuine love.It brings us comfort knowing Mom is reunited with her sister Juanita "PooBoo" Ramirez, Lorena Espinoza; Stepmom Mary Espinoza; Grandmother Frances Roman and nephew Johnny Rangel.Mom's services will be held on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, at Ivy Lawn Funeral home, 1075 E. Daily Dr., Camarillo, CA 93010, starting with visitation at 5:00 p.m. followed by a service at 7:00 p.m. Services will continue the following morning, Thursday November 14, 2024, at New Life Church, 1251 N. Rice Ave, Maulhardt Ave, Oxnard, CA 93030 at 12:00 p.m. With burial immediately following at Santa Clara Cemetery, 2370 N. H Street., Oxnard, CA 93036
