A home away from home
Where two young girls roam
Through avocado trees
Here I am allowed to be wild and free
For a middle child quiet and shy
I will always remember you kind eyes
And gentle demeanor
Your heart of an adventurer and dreamer
Another father I could look to
A strong marriage that took two
And as I grow I meet more of
The man that is Simon Biejo
Humor and kindness unbounded
Faith in a God solidly grounded
So many adults have helped to create
To educate and elevate
Me, a woman now illumitated
So today I celebrate
The life of a man who I remember
As a loving husband and father
Who loyal filled with honor
Because of your influence I am stronger
Thank you for all your gifts
And now to heaven your soul does lift.
Dear Rebecka and Biejo Family - We grieve with you over the loss of your father and pray with you that he is with the Lord. Love in Him,
Kuya Simon is a great man I've ever met. He was a hardworking man, a great father of the family. Sincere, royalty, and loving father. I remember when Kuya Simon and ate Lita brought me and my younger sister Melanie to the USA from our poverty country the Philippines. Ate Lita and Kuya Simon showed us love and care more than my parents. They taught us how to improve our lives by going to school and college, and how to work hard, and how to speak in English. I'm really thankful to them coz they spent lots of time to teach me and my younger sister Melanie to go to the doctors, dentists and learned how to drive. My parents back home didn't even do all these things for us. So Kuya Simon and ate Lita are like my parents to me coz they showed me love and care for our future. My mother and her family side took advantage of my father back home coz he has mental illness that's why the wealth of my father is all gone coz of them. My father cared and showed me loved to me and my sister Melanie, but my mother didn't care about me. I'm not ashamed to tell all my story when I was I. The Philippines coz it's all true. Without Kuya Simon and ate Lita, my life would've been a mess and worse back home. I was the one who took care of my father back home when he wasn't able to walk and feed himself until he died. A lot of people back home took advantage of my father especially my mom. I remember all the bad things she had done to me and my father that's why I don't really talk to her. She didn't even treat me like a son to her that's why my life was a mess back home. My father was a wealthy man and helped a lot of people back home he was just couldn't functioned coz of his Mental illness. So I really appreciate all the help and care of Kuya Simon and ate Lita. I could've helped took care of Kuya Simon before he passed away but I live a thousand miles away from him. It so sad that I was able to talk to kuya Simon again before he passed away. I wanted to hear him to say "I'm proud of you Marc" but I didn't have a change to visit him coz time coz by really fast and I didn't expect ate Lita and kuya Simon have gotten really old. We love you always kuya Simon and you stay in our hearts and we will never forget all the good things you've left for us on earth. Rest in peace and join the kingdom of the Lord and we will see you someday. ❤️ 🙏

I will always remember Simon as a sweet, gentle guy with a mischievous sense of humour. Judging by his family, he was also a wonderful partner to Lita and a great dad to his kids. I will miss him.
