The Marzan family has known the Biejo family for a very long time. My parents Jess and Annie have been friends with Tita Lita and Tito Simon since the 1950s, from their Far Eastern University days. In 1984, we reconnected when we arrived in Los Angeles. As I recall, both of them welcomed us very warmly and gave us a lot of encouragement.
Tito Simon was always generous, kind, friendly, and hard working. Through the years it was always a pleasure seeing him smiling when there are parties and gatherings. But Tito Simon was also tenacious and resilient in facing medical challenges.
He was a great host. Our family remembers his retirement party at Medieval Times in Buena Park. There was much merriment in the FEU Alumni get-together he hosted at his ranch. Tito Simon was gracious, kind, humble, sharing of himself, and much respected and loved.
