Patricia Ruth Smith's Obituary
Patricia Ruth (Daniels) Smith passed away peacefully on April 4th, 2025 in Ventura, California.
She was born at her Uncle Bill's Dairy, in North Powder, Oregon in 1930, to Philmore and Edith Daniels.
The family lived in McKenzie Bridge, Oregon and moved to Eugene, Oregon in 1944. She graduated from Eugene High School as a member of the National Honor Society.
She obtained her RN nursing decree at Emanuel Hospital of Nursing, and then worked at the Eugene Sacred Heart Hospital.
She married Charles William Eugene (Gene) Smith in 1952. In 1957, they sailed to Brazil to begin a 17 year stint of missionary work.
Patricia is survived by her sisters Nancy, Rose, and Gail, all her children; Edith Hanline of Lakewood, Washington, Lois Wagner of West Lynn, Oregon, Julia Albrant of Ventura, California, Philip Smith of Eugene, Andrew Smith of Christiansburg, Virginia, and Paulo Smith of Vancouver, Washington, 17 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.
She was a woman of great faith and raised all of her children in God's ways.
