Nia Caroline Langkilde's Obituary
Nia Caroline Langkilde was a strong determined woman who embraced life with courage and a relentless pursuit of success. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting in 1998 and later a Master's degree in Finance, both of which led to an accomplished career as a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for over 20 years. Later, she devoted herselt to helping her husband, Alfred Langkilde Jr. with their business, Langkilde's Fire Protection Company, where she served as Co-owner and Vice President. Nia Caroline and Alfred were married for 36 years. Despite challenges, they worked through their differences and built a strong partnership focused on their business and family, creating a thriving business that continues to prosper.Nia Caroline had a forward thinking spirit that set her apart. She was admired by many for her leadership and strength, though she was also known for her directness and determination to make things happen.Nia Caroline loved her surviving daughter, Lamanda (Teofilo) and her late son Marcus (who passed away on February 10, 2024). Nia Caroline endured the heartbreaking loss of Marcus and carried that grief with strength and grace. She was incredibly proud of her family and loved her grandchildren dearly: Theresa, Alfred, Mateo, Daniel, Ezekiel, and thalia.Nia Caroline was preceded in death by her parents, Ikenasio Fuimaono-loane and Paratisa Togipau loane, her son Marcus Laki Langkilde, her brother Anzon Anesone Fuimaono-loane, her sister Del Fuimaono-Ioane, and her nephew Jeremiah Tuiteleleapaga.She is survived by her loving husband, Alfred Langkilde Jr; her daughter, Lamanda (Teofilo), her grandchildren: Theresa, Alfred, Mateo, Daniel, Ezekiel, and Thalia; and her siblings Lamanda (Salaimila), Dr. Joy (Peresitene), Richard (Faagalo), Apollo (Artemio), Jewel (Taumiloga), and Theresa (Dr. Arbus), as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunties, and uncles, all of whom will cherish her memory.Nia Caroline's life was a testament to resilience, devotion, and love. She will be remembered for her kind heart, bold spirit, and the countless lives she touched.Her funeral services will take place at Ivy Lawn Funeral Home 1075 E. Daily Dr, Camarillo, CA 93010 on Wednesday, January 15th from 9:00 a.m to 1:00 p.m. Nia will be laid to rest on Wednesday, January 15th at 2:00 p.m at Ivy Lawn Memorial Park 5400 Valentine Rd, Ventura, CA 93003. There will be a reception to follow.
