Jose A. Vargas, Jr.'s Obituary
Jose A. Vargas, Jr., a Bronx born New York native and Southern California transplant who resided in Ventura County and the Inland Empire moved on to eternity on March 13, 2026.
Jose leaves behind his loving wife, Perla, his devoted son, Anthony, daughter Nicolette, stepson Servando and goddaughter/eldest niece Erika. Siblings Evelyn, Michelle, and Raymond. His granddaughter Sophia, his many nieces, nephews, grandnephews, and grandnieces. Jose was predeceased by his beloved parents Jose and Nilda, sister Maritza and brothers-in-law’s, Stephen and Jorge and his grand-niece Erionna.
Jose was a dedicated sports fan who loved to bowl and golf for its comradery and competitiveness. We all know Jose did not like to lose. Although he resided in California for close to 40 years, he always followed his New York teams and one of his favorite memories was taking his dad to Game 1 of the 2000 Subway World Series with his siblings.
Jose was a superior salesman who forged many friendships throughout his career, and several remain strong to this day.
A loving, giving and tender soul, he will be missed by us all.
