Anne Catherine DeHayes' Obituary
Anne Catherine DeHayes, 68, of Camarillo, CA, passed away February 24, 2026, at her home in California.
Born April 9, 1957, and raised in Chappaqua, NY, she was the daughter of Vincent and Mary (Hughes) Daly. She attended Horace Greeley High School and later Marymount College.
Anyone who met Anne knew her as a bright and shining soul who carried love for everyone. Though an East Coaster by birth and having lived across the United States, Anne was a California girl at heart and was especially happy to return there in recent years. She remained endlessly curious — always exploring new places, new ideas, and new ways of seeing the world.
Anne found joy in bright colors, beautiful flowers, and quiet wisdoms. She loved people - offering comfort, encouragement, laughter, and insight freely. Her eclectic spirit embraced art and music, and she never lost her appreciation for humor, happily re-watching favorite films and quoting lines with impeccable timing. She believed in living fully, loving freely, and, when necessary, simply letting it be.
Anne is survived by her darling son, Christopher DeHayes and his wife Mary; her brothers, Vincent Daly and John Daly; and her life partner, Griffin Poynter. She was preceded in death by her parents, Vincent and Mary Daly; her beloved aunt, Sally Hughes; her favorite sister, Mimi Daly; and her brother, Tom Daly.
Anne would be honored to be remembered in joyful, colorful ways. In her spirit, may we choose love — again and again.
