Alvin Corse passed away in an automobile accident on February 29th 2024 In VenturaCalifornia. Alvin Joseph Corse was born on October 14th 1937 in Bakersfield California and theeldest of twins. He is survived by his beloved wife of 66 years Ledlie Corse, his sister BethCave, Sons and daughters, Kevin Corse, Tyler Corse( Melanie) Ann Olson (Grant) Kathy Priceand Ted Corse(Laura). He was preceded in death by his father William Corse, mother ThelmaCorse, brother John Corse and twin brother Fred Corse.His legacy includes 17 grandchildren,11 great-grandchildren, and many friends.Al Corse was a surveyor, a water system inspector and longtime employee of the CarpinteriaCounty Water District, until he retired. Al enjoyed driving, and drove across the United Statesmultiple times with his co-pilot Ledlie and his little blue bear mascot. He enjoyed checking hisfamily's genealogy, locating birth and death places of relatives. Although Al did not enjoyairplane flights he enjoyed trips to Europe with his wife, son Ted and daughter in-law Laura. Heenjoyed fishing with his sons on the Colorado river every year. Al was a devout reader andlifelong learner and liked hardback books! For the last many years he has been our motherscaretaker, a role he took seriously and devotedly. His laugh and thoughtful stories will bemissed.Al's family will host a funeral service on Saturday March 9, 2024 at 1:00pm. The service will beat Ivy Lawn Cemetery in Ventura California.
